Breaking News

Osama Bin Laden is dead. This is a day that, along with 9/11, will go down in history. Granted, it took hundreds of troops 10 years and over a trillion dollars, and hundreds of thousands of innocent people were killed in the process of trying to find him, the person at the top of the “Most Wanted” list is finally dead. Although there are still Al-Qaeda networks out there to worry about, this is overall a happy day for our country. President Obama made an amazing speech, and I was glad he made the point that America is not, and will never be, at war with Islam. I could not have asked for a better president, better news, or a better speech ending with the Pledge of Allegiance on this random Sunday night. I have no doubt that this will bring all Americans closer together and bring back the feeling of unity we all experienced on 9/11, and I have never been this proud to call myself an American Muslim. Now it’s time to move on and go back to more important matters, like the NBA playoffs. Hawks AND Mavericks games tomorrow night, WOO! Goodnight, world. =)
