Education

“The purpose of education is to replace an empty mind with an open one”

Education is not just getting good grades to get a good job and make a lot of money.
In fact, it is so much more. It’s becoming open minded to new ideas and ways of thinking to become more tolerant and understanding and accepting and even embracing all kinds of people and lifestyles. It is applying what you’ve learned in real life to compromise and apply practical ways to real problems and learning to appreciate what you have and eventually help others and improve someone else’s life and make a difference in the world, no matter how small. It is being able to pass on this knowledge and become a good person. It is meeting new people and sharing and exchanging and spreading this knowledge. It is taking chances and broadening your horizons and loving what you do with all your heart and then knowing that you’ve succeeded in life desite the amount of material wealth you’ve attained. It can solve virtually any world problem when used correctly and waste a lifetime when left unused. Motivation and a strong thirst for knowledge is required to understand its true value and make the most of it. It is so much more than book smarts, so much more than facts, so much more than what most people believe it to be. And it is one of the most important qualities to have in ones life.
