Personal Development: Nurology

As many of you know, one of my favorite things to do in my free time is browse youtube videos. I thought I would take just a few moments to share a new channel by one of my favorite beauty bloggers, Nur at nurberxo. Her new channel is called nurology and it’s all about what we didn’t learn in school. We all learn the Pythagorean theorem and memorize the periodic table of elements, but we never learn how to deal with loss and heartbreak or how to find happiness or how to deal with anger, jealousy, or any of the other emotions and stressors that life throws our way. The thing I loved the most is that she also mentioned her intent to focus on the opposite aspect of that- how to not be the one causing problems for others, and how to work on personal development and growth through experiences as a life long student.

In her new channel, she will be mentioning various articles, books, videos, and other inspirational materials to discuss and reflect upon, and will be helping to navigate her viewers through this information in order to actually apply them to real life situations and make a change. I don’t usually share a lot of videos like this, but I really felt that this was relatable for me personally, both in terms of our shared love for inspiring and motivating others as well as spreading knowledge about the importance of meditation, journaling, constant positive thoughts and beliefs, and the concept of happiness being a journey that begins from the inside out. (I particularly loved the analogy of personal development being similar to Narnia in that once you discover its existence, there’s a whole new exciting world to explore)!

I hope that this channel can serve as a great resource for my readers as well as myself, and that, being that we are all human and alike in some way at our core, can help lift each other up and have a platform to gain new sources of inspiration and share our opinions in order to understand each other and ourselves a little bit better. Check out her channel and let me know what you guys think!
