What does it mean to be a risk-taker? To me, it means anything where you take a chance and put in time or effort or money or resources to get something you really want in life, even though you know it may not work out and you’ll lose everything you put in. But you do it anyway to take a risk because it’s something you want that you feel will add meaning, purpose, or joy to your life.

When it comes to financial responsibility, those risks are a lot different and other factors such as family responsibilities and future planning are important pieces to consider. Financial risks are not something I wish I took more of, but I do feel happy with other risks I’ve taken. “The biggest risk is not taking any risk…in a world that is changing very quickly, the only strategy that is guaranteed to fail is not taking any risks”. -Mark Zuckerberg
