Today we went on an all-day excursion to Heidelberg, Germany, the cutest little town I have ever seen. It was pretty much straight like it was out of a fairy tale; the few main streets were narrow and long, filled with shops and restaurants and people walking everywhere. I’m pretty sure I didn’t see more than a couple of cars the entire day.

Heidelberg is exactly the kind of small town I had always imagined when I pictured myself in Europe. The houses were all on a mountain overlooking a large river, and after taking a general walking tour of the city, we actually went up the mountain to a famous castle.

I have never seen anything like it and the view of Heidelberg from the top was breathtaking; there’s not much else to add considering how exhausted I am today, but I can honestly say it was one of the most beautiful places I have seen in all of Europe so far.
