So I am finally at camp and I am loving it! However, I don’t check my phone much here, nor do I have any other access to know what’s going on in the world. Somehow, I still managed to find out that same-sex marriage has officially been legalized, so I couldn’t help but write out all the excitement bubbling up inside of me. In an ideal situation, this would have happened much earlier, or in a perfect world, this would have never been an issue to begin with. But the world we live in is nothing close to perfection, and this news is better late than never. Congratulations to all for becoming one step closer to the freedom we were born to have, to love anyone and everyone in whatever way we choose. Today is a happy day and God is good.
