So today I did absolutely nothing except face book, supposedly a waste of life, and the #1 way to totally disconnect from reality. Well anyways, during this time, I read a whole bunch of notes ppl wrote, and realized I don’t really write many notes. That was completely random and besides the point, hence the title of this note. Anyways, a lot, in fact, most of the notes were about self-realization during senior year of high school or freshman year of college. And some kinda made me sad and miss the past. This led to..well, more sadness and reminiscing. So I read ALL my old xanga entries today (tg I didn’t have xanga for TOO long, or I‘d never have been able to read them all) and a lot of quotations I’ve found from..around. Some made me smile, some me wanna cry. But I wanted to have all my favorite ones in one place so I could go back & look at them whenever I..you know, like felt like I needed to. So here they are. Dont work so hard that u never have time to stop and smell the roses.
When u die, the only thing left will b ur soul, so dont get so caught up in material progress and things such as money that u 4get the things that REALLY matter (family/friends, helping others, religion, etc.)
Life is TOO SHORT. Appreciate everything u have b/c u never noe wen it will be gone. Dont take the simple, everyday things (5 senses, family, education, food, etc.) in life 4 granted b/c not everyone has the good fortune of having them. Take advantage of EVERY OPPORTUNITY that comes ur way. Try new things, experience new feelings, and make new friends.
Laugh. Love. Smile. Make others smile. Live everyday as if it is ur last. Breathe every breath as if it is ur last.
Live life to the absolute fullest, and dont have ANY regrets b/c EVERY experience (good and bad) u’ve had has helped make u the person u r today. also, i think its much better to have bad experiences and learn from em than to not have any experiences at all. Most importantly, noe that ur life is only the way YOU c itm so ALWAYS see the glass half full, b/c it is NEVER half empty.

Without mean people, the only cause of death or sadness would be natural diseases and old age (and possible plane crashes or drownings), which i plan on becoming a nurse and helping to fix. There would be no war, violence, poverty, greed, theft, selfishness, or hatred if everyone was nice. There would be no unfairness, no suicide, even much less natural causes of sadness and death, and my mom would be happy. There would be no orphans, and everything would be great. But then again, that would be heaven wouldn’t it? I can only hope and wait, for the world to change, and the love to come back.
